looking at the picture, i didn't really capture the size or red & blue
coloring very well.

A mistake I made 3 times.

The Backstory

I have been playing a lot of drums lately.
This is really quite unfortunate for many people....but i am having
the time of my life.

Today, i was able to score a set of very early blue ludwig vistalites.
6 digit serial numbers, which means first year.......cool to a gear
nerd like me.

24, 13, 14, 16, 18, 14x5.

It has a few scratches, but nothing serious.

Thanks to a few patient individuals who were up for some drum
education and hand holding, i knew the right questions to ask, and the
right things to look for.

These are in damned good condish for the age.

I have kind of tuned them up a bit---but i didn't have the time today
to really go all into it.

I knew i'd want a ported head, so i ordered this:

A night at the cabaret

Grillin season

Ben and I spent a while cleaning and preparing our recently gifted gas
grill.

It took a while, but it was finally deemed usable.

Additionally, this past Xmas, I was outfitted with many grill
accessories, one of them being a hot dog grill roller.

It was terrific. The dogs were cooked evenly, all the way around.

What a weird, yet surprisingly useful tool.

Kinda like ben;)
